Manufacturing Production WorkerVolt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Production worker in Newport, DE.As a manufacturing production worker you will:Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transfer sensitive materials into columns using machine-assisted and computer-automated processesWork at various stations that utilize different chemicals and solvents, carefully pouring materials into small columnsMaintain high-precision operations while following strict contamination control and clean-room standardsMonitor processes through computer systems and report any deviations or variances to supervisors promptlyFollow all safety, PPE, and chemical-handling procedures in compliance with OSHA and company policiesWork Environment:Clean-room/laboratory-style atmospherenot a traditional warehouseStructured stations with specialized equipment, chemicals, and solventsPPE is provided, and comprehensive safety and process training is conducted before startingThis role requires a strong level of focus and consistency, as even small variances can impact the quality of the process.Requirements:Attention to Detail: Meticulous focus on maintaining sterile conditions, precision work, and avoiding contaminationManufacturing / Production Assembly Experience: Prior hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly environments where accuracy, consistency, and quality standards are criticalSafety Conscious: Strict adherence to OSHA regulations, PPE usage, and chemical-handling safety guidelinesComfort with Chemicals: Ability to safely handle chemicals and solvents while following established proceduresComputer Skills: Comfortable using computers and automated equipment for monitoring and documenting processesCommunication: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and clearly communicate process deviations or concerns to supervisorsThis is a full time opportunity.1st shift and 2nd shift available:4:40am-3:10pm Mon-Thursday; 3:10 pm - 1:40 am, Monday ThursdayThe ideal candidate will have:Typically 1-3 years of relevant experience for entry to this levelHigh School diploma or equivalentAbility to work with chemicals is requiredAssembly and manufacturing experienceGood communication skills both verbal and writtenBilingual communications skills a plusPay Rate: $18 to $19.80 per hour, depending on shiftBenefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
