Material HandlerDuties and ResponsibilitiesOperate hi-lo in a safe and efficient manner to move materialAssign inventory locations to parts, as well as receiving work orders/purchase ordersComplete receiving inspections and notifying all damaged freight to Shipping CoordinatorMaintain accurate inventory records; cycle count; troubleshoot errorsSafely transports finished goods from manufacturing to the shipping areaSecurely loads the machines on to palletsVerifies and accurately records data for machines before wrapping (build sheets, QA documents, etc.)Wraps and packages machines for shipping (including but not limited to: blocking and bracing machine on pallet, applying layers of bubble wrap, securing machine glass with foam packs, applying shrink wrap by hand or using shrink wrap machine, banding machine to pallet using a metal bander, applying corrugated sleeve, building crates, and adding the proper decals and labels)Follows all loading, unloading, and proper lifting procedures according to training and SOP guidelinesInspects material handling equipment, racking, dock doors, and pallets weekly, at a minimumAll other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesHigh School diploma or equivalentExperience with forkliftAbility to read and understand work order routings and instructionsOrganizational skills with attention to detail and work accuracyGood mathematical skillsAmeri-Force BenefitsAs part of the Ameri-Force team, a recognized ESOP company, you have a personal stake in the collective success of the organization, fostering a collaborative and rewarding work environment.
