This role is critical to dealership profitability and requires strong closing ability, lender expertise, and customer trust-building.Key ResponsibilitiesStructure and present finance and lease options tailored to customer profilesMaximize backend gross through F&I product sales (GAP, warranty, protection plans)Secure approvals across multiple lenders and optimize deal structurePresent payment options clearly and confidently to close customersEnsure all deals meet California compliance (contracts, disclosures, lender requirements)Finalize contracts and ensure timely funding of dealsBuild and maintain strong lender relationshipsTrain and support Sales team on deal structure and finance positioningKPIs / Success MetricsBackend Gross per Deal (target: $2,000–$4,000+)Product Penetration Rate (GAP, warranty, etc.)Approval-to-Funding Conversion RateDeal Funding Time (speed and accuracy)Compliance Accuracy (zero contract errors)Required Experience5+ years Automotive F&I experienceProven high backend gross performanceStrong closing, objection handling, and negotiation skillsDeep knowledge of credit tiers and lender programsExperience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS/CRM)
