Reports To: Center Director & Education DirectorDescription: Food Services/Food Catered• Maintain nutrition program's record-keeping and reporting as directed by supervisor.• Review food and supplies order sheets, delivery slips, menus, meal count form.• Store food and supplies properly, monitor and maintain proper food temperatures.• Maintain appropriate cleanliness of all kitchen materials and supplies as required.• Be aware of center allergies and concerns.• Coordinate delivery of food to classrooms and deliver food to classrooms.• Collect food carts from classrooms after meals• The Cook's responsibilities chiefly fall within the following core functions, although s/he may perform other tasks as needed and as directed by the Education Director.Maintenance:Responsible for kitchen, bathrooms, hallways, classrooms, indoor gym and office cleanlinessClean floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuumingGather and empty trash. Put outside for pick upScrub and disinfect all bathrooms, urinals, sinks, toilet bowl and other fixtures dailyFill all paper dispensers: paper towel, toilet paperFill all soap dispensersReport any damage to school property, furniture to Education DirectorRequisition of supplies and equipment needed for building maintenanceQualifications:• Current food handler's certificateEqual Opportunity Employer
