Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Maintain and analyze standard costs Review cost variances and investigate root causes Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost of sales Support cost‑saving initiatives with operations Conduct physical inventory and cycle counts Prepare inventory reserve analyses Contribute to the month‑end close for cost and inventory accounts Qualifications: Strong background in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment Ability to analyze and interpret operational data Skilled in partnering with operations, production, and finance teams Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying improvement opportunities Timing is everything.
