Packaging Engineer

Responsibilities: Manage cross-functional product development projects, including catalog updates, plant transfers, product launches, and packaging component development. Create and maintain project timelines, milestones, dependencies, feasibility analyses, and risk mitigation plans to support on-time launches. Lead project reviews, launch meetings, stakeholder coordination, issue resolution, and escalation of risks to operational and divisional leadership. Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Research & Innovation teams on innovation briefs, harmonization, profitability, sustainability, feasibility costing, and value analysis. Coordinate manufacturing, plant-transfer, QCP, and R&D activities while maintaining project documentation, meeting follow-ups, and communication between divisional and industrial teams. Requirements4–6 years of experience in packaging or product development and project management, preferably in cosmetics, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, food, or a related industry. Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Operations, or a related technical discipline; technical packaging experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience managing products or launches from concept through completion, including project planning, risk management, and cross-functional execution. Strong strategic, leadership, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build collaborative relationships. Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency; experience with global product development is preferred, and the ability to work onsite or in-office is essential.
