Day Program Instructor

Do you want to have fun at work and make a difference in the lives of others while doing it? We are looking for a responsible, outgoing and fun person to be an instructor in our day program for adults with intellectual disabilities. This position is Full Time, Monday thru Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm. Experience with planning and implementing group activities preferred, but we're willing to train the right individual. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English a plus. This position requires patience and the ability to work in a sometimes overwhelming group setting, and a willingness to have a great time while spending time with cool people! Our instructors provide transportation to and from community activities, so a reliable car is a necessity, with mileage reimbursed at 72.5 cents per mile. Applicant must have Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation and will be required to pass a Department Of Justice background check. Applicants will also be required to provide proof of auto insurance, and obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire. Serious applicants only, Please!
