Controls Engineer

Role:This machine builder is looking for a key piece to add onto the team with a solid controls skillset (senior level) along with a strong work ethic and an openness to learn.This is a unique opportunity with competitive pay package, potential hybrid/remote flexibility, an ability to work in a small start up with a large parent company to back for stability, strong growth potential, and a chance to expand your skillset working on some exciting projects.Key Responsibilities:· Design control architectures, including selection and integration of sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other hardware components.· Develop and implement control algorithms to achieve desired system performance, accuracy, and reliability.· Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other control devices to execute desired control strategies.Qualifications:· 6+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or a related field.· Proficiency in PLC programming languages (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems.· Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP).· Ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues and implement effective solutions.
