This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire, supported by our dedicated team and resources. The shift will be 4, 10 hour shifts between Monday - Friday with on-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays.This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging and procedures. These include tests on cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes. This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will also conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, pulmonary functions.As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist you will be responsible for: Performing diagnostic imaging and proceduresAssisting in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functionsPreparing EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.Performing technical duties including scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring and recording of diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac cath, PTCA, stent, atherectomy, peripherals.Experience RequirementsLess than 1 year Cath Laboratory ExperienceExperience working at another hospitalEducation & Credential RequirementsHigh School Diploma RequiredAssociates Degree PreferredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS) RequiredRegistered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required OrRegistered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required OrRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required OrLicensed Radiologic Technologist RequiredThis Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will be located at Baptist Jacksonville.
