The apprentice will assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and related equipment in residential and light commercial settings. Day-to-day tasks include supporting senior plumbers on service calls, helping diagnose basic plumbing issues, preparing tools and materials, and ensuring work areas are clean and safe. The role also involves interacting with customers in a professional manner, following instructions, learning to read basic plans or diagrams, and adhering to safety protocols and local plumbing codes. The position provides ongoing on-the-job training, with opportunities to develop skills and grow into more independent responsibilities over time.Qualifications Foundational knowledge or strong interest in Plumbing and Pipe installation and repair.Ability to support Maintenance & Repair work, including routine Maintenance of plumbing systems.Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on clear, respectful communication and professionalism on-site.Willingness to learn, follow safety procedures, and work under the guidance of more experienced plumbers.Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.Basic tool-handling skills and comfort working with hand and power tools.Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Bellflower, CA and consistent punctuality.High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior apprenticeship or trade-related experience is a plus but not required.
