Quality Control Inspector The 2nd Shift Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of sheet metal components to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality, preventing defects, and supporting a culture of operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process, first-article, and final inspections using standard metrology tools (calipers, height gauges, micrometers, pin gauges, thread gauges, etc.)Verify part conformance to engineering drawings, tolerances, and work instructionsRead and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing specificationsDocument inspection results accurately in quality records, travelers, and digital systemsIdentify nonconformancesConduct surface finish, weld quality and dimensional inspections as requiredCollaborate with production operators and supervisors to resolve quality issuesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentSupport continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsRequired: 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturingAbility to read and interpret blueprintsProficiency with standard inspection toolsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently on 2nd shiftBasic computer skills for data entry and documentationMust be able to read and write English proficientlyPreferred: Experience with FAIRs & ISO 9001 environmentsKnowledge of welding inspection (visual weld criteria, AWS standards)Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs.Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materialsLocation: Denver, CO Shift: 2nd Shift (Typical hours: 4:00 PM 12:30 PM, MondayFriday) Department: Quality Control Employment Type: Full-TimeWhat we offerHealth Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
