You will be a key player in creating and providing valuable information to both internal and external stakeholders across the US.
General Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated supervisor to oversee one of our Accounts Payable Teams, who will excel in a fast-paced environment. Duties will include team direction and supervision, problem resolution, coordination with skilled nursing facilities, and other applicable accounts payable duties. A successful candidate will be able to guide their team while working with vendors utility and service providers to maintain order and efficiency in a large organization.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train Accounts Payable team members
Respond to utility payment emergencies at facilities
Communicate effectively with service providers
Assist with energy benchmarking responsibilities and requirements
Respond to facility and vendor inquiries
Assist with Month End Close preparation
Analyze expenditures for accurate coding in accordance with cost reporting requirements
Develop accounts payable processes and documents to support the input and handling of financial data and reports
Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years supervisory experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills a must
Vendor payment and management experience a plus
Accounting or Finance education/experience
Energy benchmarking experience a plus
Quick learner, task-oriented, self-motivated and hardworking
Well-organized with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and complete responsibilities and projects on time
Strong analytical skills to investigate and resolve issues and inquiries
Excellent leadership skills
