Job DescriptionNow Hiring: MiTek Truss Designer (Full-Time | On-Site)I'm working with a strong, well-established component manufacturer that is ready to add a high-level Truss Designer to their team.This is not an entry-level drafting role.This is for someone who understands production, code compliance, timelines - and how design decisions impact the plant floor and the jobsite.If you take pride in clean layouts, accurate placements, and protecting margins through smart design, keep reading.What You'll Be Responsible For:Designing accurate roof and floor truss systems using MiTek softwareProducing complete Truss Placement Plans and engineered design drawingsReviewing architectural and structural plans and catching issues before they become problemsWorking directly with sales, production, architects, engineers, and field teamsAssisting with repairs, field fixes, and value-engineered solutionsEnsuring all designs meet building codes, safety standards, and project specsSupporting a fast-paced production environment where deadlines matterThis team values precision, accountability, and collaboration.
