BI Development Lead

BI Development Lead Location: Charlotte, NC (Initial remote for 2-3 months)Employment Type: W2 ContractLead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level BI reports and dashboards using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.Architect and optimize data models and semantic layers on Snowflake, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.Develop, manage, and maintain transformation pipelines using dbt, enforcing best practices in modularity, testing, and documentation.Utilize Python for data processing, automation, advanced analytics, and integration with data pipelines.Collaborate closely with data engineering teams to define data ingestion, transformation, and governance standards across the analytics platform.Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions, providing mentorship and technical leadership to BI developers and analysts.Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and adherence to security and compliance standards across all reporting and analytics solutions.
