District Sales Manager, Commercial
Job OverviewDirect the sales activities for an assigned geographic area through the implementation of company strategy. Manage $37-40 million in sales and oversee a team of 11 Account Managers in the Seattle, WA area. Report to the Regional Sales Vice President of Commercial.ResponsibilitiesLead a team that generates sales and growth in an assigned geographic area, engaging the field and customers to drive performance.Utilize reporting and analytics to understand and forecast trends for the district, enabling data-driven growth decisions.Promote opportunity development, customer relations, and retention.Collaborate with internal partners to achieve sales goals within the assigned market.Implement local segment programs with customers, supplier partners, and internal resources.Use appropriate pricing strategies to guide the team toward profitable growth.Manage strategic supplier relationships in partnership with the team.Coach and counsel direct reports to develop skills and lead through business changes.Travel 25-75% of the time, including overnight stays and flights.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.7+ years of sales leadership experience.Apply strategic planning, set measurable goals, allocate resources, and conduct quantitative analysis to support business objectives.Demonstrate leadership skills to assess, coach, counsel, and develop a sales team.Understand financial reporting, analyze needs, costs, budgets, and economic earnings.Lead and implement change initiatives using structured change-management approaches.Drive team performance by fostering engagement and accountability for defined outcomes.CompensationBase pay range: $121,200.00 – $202,100.00.
