Machine Operator/Material Handler

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator/Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating various machinery, managing materials, and ensuring quality standards are met within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with fabrication processes, and safety protocols, contributing to efficient manufacturing operations and product excellence. Duties Operate machinery in a safe and effective manner. Handle materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper storage and movement within the facility. Perform quality control checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances. Maintain proper tooling setups and perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety procedures including the use of hand tools, safety gear, and adherence to factory protocols. Document production data accurately and report any machine malfunctions or quality issues promptly. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and fabrication tools. Experience operating forklifts and handling materials in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Hands-on experience with factory machinery including assembly lines and packaging processes. Strong understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality control procedures. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred; warehouse experience is a plus.
