Join our outstanding team!About the JobThe Transportation Dispatcher plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and customer‐focused daily trucking operations at our Vicksburg Hauling location by coordinating drivers, equipment, shipments, and customer orders in a fast‐paced environment.Dispatch drivers and manage daily truck and equipment logisticsReceive customer orders and accurately enter shipments into the ERP systemCoordinate deliveries based on customer demand, driver availability, seniority, DOT hours of service, and plant loadout schedulesProcess shipments and generate bills of lading, ensuring accuracy of weights, products, and delivery requirementsSupport DOT compliance and company safety policies through daily operational executionMaintain customer location records, including GPS directionsPartner with shop mechanics to ensure equipment availability and readinessProvide administrative and operational support to the Lead Dispatcher and broader trucking team, including after‐hours driver support on a rotating scheduleRequired QualificationsAssociate's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business, or equivalent trucking industry experiencePrior experience in trucking operations and dispatchingValid Driver's LicenseAbility to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environmentStrong communication, organization, and time‐management skillsPreferred QualificationsClass A CDLWorking knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirementsSupervisory or lead experience in a transportation or operations environmentExperience using ERP systems and transportation management toolsThe Fine PrintBenefits and perquisites may vary based on the nature and location of each job.Click here for MLC EEO informationAbout MLCMLC, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., is a leading global supplier of high-calcium lime products and technical solutions.
