We share knowledge freely, celebrate wins together, and know that our success comes from working as one team.Here’s the work you get to do:Serve as the primary interface between field operations and the Pre-Construction department, conducting on-site evaluations of active and completed projects to verify estimate accuracy.Visit job sites to measure and verify quantities of materials used, comparing actual field conditions against estimated assumptions.Document discrepancies between estimated and actual labor hours, material usage, and project conditions, providing actionable feedback to refine bidding processes.Photograph and document site conditions that impact costs, reviewing installation methods for efficiency.Meet with project managers and superintendents to understand challenges encountered during construction.Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for the estimating team.Maintain a database of actual costs versus estimated costs, identifying patterns or trends to improve future estimates.Here’s what makes you a great fit for this role:3-5 years of experience in construction, preferably in residential settings.Strong knowledge of concrete, block masonry construction methods and materials, with familiarity in wood and metal framing systems.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Proficiency with measuring tools and basic estimation software.Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently and manage multiple site visits efficiently.Physical capability to walk job sites in various stages of completion, climb ladders and scaffolding as needed, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.What We Offer: At Sole Construction Partners, we reward great work with competitive pay, comprehensive health benefits, and a 401(k) with company match.
