Client Services Analyst
Job DescriptionCozen O’Connor is seeking a Client Services Analyst to join our Philadelphia team. The position of Client Services Analyst reports directly to the Client Services Supervisor and will work closely with the Director of Collections and Billing in collection efforts. This is a hybrid position in the Philadelphia office.ResponsibilitiesAssist with various client requests for additional information on invoicesEnsure proper administration of internal write-off policiesMonitor e-billed invoices deductions and assist with helping to reduce deductionsMaintain accurate files of attempts to contact clients and records of discussionsAssist with the cleanup of unallocated receipts and short paid invoicesWork with clients to reconcile any accounting discrepancies Process write-offs for identified accountsBuild relationships with attorneys to identify clients that can be contacted for paying outstanding balancesPerform tasks at a high level with customer service being top priorityResearch and resolve invoice inquiries/issuesPlace direct phone calls and emails to clients that are past dueProvide copies of past due invoices and recapping invoices when necessaryUpdate comments in Aderant systemAssist with payment posting, client refunds and fund reallocationsResearch payment allocations and unidentified paymentsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience requiredCollege degree preferred3 – 5 years’ experience in client services, collections, accounts receivable or a related areaPrior law firm experience preferredCandidates with a background overseeing large-volume portfolios highly preferredExcellent written, oral and reading communication skills in order for the incumbent to accurately obtain, interpret and transcribe a variety of communications and instructionsProficiency in Microsoft applications with advanced level in Microsoft Word and OutlookProfessional interpersonal skills and the ability to adjust and interact with all levels of personnel including clients, attorneys and staffBe able to multitask, organized, set priorities and meet deadlines and take pride in one’s workProfessional judgement, strong attention to detail and great interpersonal skills requiredThe salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 and represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
