This role is responsible for driving loan growth, improving efficiency through automation, strengthening credit administration, and delivering an exceptional member experience.The ideal candidate brings both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, with the ability to modernize lending operations while developing high-performing teams.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead and continuously improve consumer lending processes, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and efficiencyDrive loan growth by aligning objectives, opportunities, and resources across all consumer lending channelsProvide leadership across consumer loan acquisition sources, including direct, indirect, credit card, and emerging channelsCollaborate cross-functionally to support enterprise-wide goals and member acquisition strategiesOversee credit administration, underwriting standards, and consistent risk management practicesDevelop and execute strategies to acquire, develop, and retain productive lending relationshipsMentor and develop lending leadership and staff, fostering strong critical thinking and decision-makingEnsure productivity, service quality, and performance standards are consistently metServe as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership on consumer lending trends and opportunitiesPreferred Qualifications7+ years of experience in consumer lending, including leadership responsibilityExperience working for credit union with automotive lending expertiseProven ability to develop and execute dynamic lending strategiesStrong leadership and mentoring skills with a track record of developing talentAnalytical and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and resolve operational and management challengesExperience driving change, process improvement, and automation initiatives#INAPR2026
