You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure and tooling that powers our applications and services. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud technologies, automation, and DevOps practices, with a passion for creating reliable, scalable, and efficient systems. This role involves leading technical initiatives and driving continuous improvement in our platform architecture.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Essential Functions – ResponsibilitiesPlatform Development: Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)Automation: Develop and maintain automation tools and processes for deployment, monitoring, and operations (CI/CD pipelines, configuration management)System Reliability & Security: Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the core platform services, including proactive monitoring and incident responseObservability & Monitoring: Implement and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively identify and resolve system issuesArchitecture & Strategy: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define the long-term platform strategy, architecture, and technology roadmapMentorship & Leadership: Serve as a technical leader and mentor to the broader engineering organization, coaching others on best practicesCost Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for infrastructure cost savings and efficiency improvementsDocumentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform architecture, processes, and standardsOperational Excellence: Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to and resolve critical platform incidents, conducting thorough root cause analysisQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience in a Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roleExpertise in at least one major cloud provider such as GCP (preferred), AWS, or AzureProven experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Strong proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) - experience with Java is a plusDeep understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)Experience with distributed tracing, logging, and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsSolid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewallsCertification from a major cloud provider is preferred (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional)WORK ENVIRONMENTMonday through Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PMFast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and rewardCompany promotes work/life balance to achieve maximum performance professionally and personallyCompensation And BenefitsWe value hard work and on-the-job-excellence and offer competitive compensation and benefits packages:Position offers a Base SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, Life and 401(k) benefits are offeredFlexible Time Off (FTO)
