This is a temporary position for School Year 2025-2026.Individuals who are eligible or possess Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification are encouraged to apply. Candidate MUST also be certified in a content area (ELA, Math, or Science). Candidates must apply online.QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Teacher of Special Education and a content area (ELA, Math, or Science). Successful candidates must provide evidence of successful PRAXIS II scores or a valid out of state teaching license.Interested in teaching but haven't completed a traditional education program to become certified? You can find more information on Alternative Routes to Certification here!Out of State Candidates: An educator applying for a license in the State of DE with less than 1 year of experience will be placed on an Initial License. Applicants with one completed year of experience, but less than 4 years of experience will receive an Initial License. The State of Delaware DOE may recognize standard certificates from all other states as a means of eligibility.SALARY: In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree.
