Material Planner
Material PlannerResponsibilities:
MRP (e.g. raw materials, intermediates, finished goods, recertification, batch traceability)
Creating and daily reporting of deviations to KPI benchmarks and reasons to Supply Chain Manager
Ensuring and maintaining correct master data with SAP
Placing, scheduling and monitoring of purchase orders within the organization and with external vendors
Planning and ordering of consumables
Scheduling and monitoring oversea container to warehouses
Coordinating and monitoring of inventories
Scheduling of production, determining optimal batch sizes
Make or buy analysis under the aspect of logistical needs and P>C
Maintaining min/max amounts
Communication with Sales, Customer Service and Sales
Reduction of days inventory held
Reducing amount of expired materials
Ensuring on time delivery (OTD)
Coordinating daily materials demands
5s and lean management
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Role Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Experience with SAP software (preferred)
Experience with systems and procedures such as CIP, FMEA, etc preferred
Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
The position requires the ability to travel both domestically and internationally, including to countries and customers that may require proof of vaccination.
Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Exposure to fumes and hazardous chemicals.
This position requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
