General Maintenance

Job Summary:The General Maintenance will maintain and care for all facilities. They will perform general maintenance and repairs for equipment and buildings including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.  Essential Functions:Ability to follow instructions from the maintenance managerKnowledge of general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling, automotive      service is a plusAbility to use hand tools and power toolsGood organizational and time management skillsComply with the Idaho State and County Regulations and Orchard Ridge policies and procedures  Compensation:Compensation DOE.  Benefits include paid PTO, health insurance covered at 75% of premium, 10K employer paid life insurance and 401k-3% match.  Minimum Eligibility Requirements:Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair and notifies the      manager as neededPossesses a valid driver’s licensePerforms routine and preventative maintenance on building systems. Examples may      include repairing drywall, painting, repairing leaking faucets and other building fixturesSnow removal in winter (this may require operating a small tractor, truck, or ATV)Performs other related duties as assigned by the managerMust be able to work respectfully and compassionately with older adultsMust pass criminal and drug background tests as required by Bureau of Licensing and corporate policies  Training:Attend all required in-service trainingWorking Conditions (travel, hours, and environment):Ability to work on a dedicated schedule and on call rotationPhysical /Sensory Requirements (with or without the aid of mechanical devices.)Medium work- Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force      frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objectsLong periods of standing and walking with occasional sittingFrequent bending, stooping, squatting and reachingOccasional twisting and kneelingPI68a52606b965-31181-40486026
