Power BI Developer
We’re seeking a Power BI Developer to design and deliver high-impact business intelligence solutions that drive data-informed decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and business insight, working closely with stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable dashboards and reporting.The ideal candidate brings strong Power BI expertise, a solid foundation in data modeling and SQL, and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data integration and analytics.What You’ll DoDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insightsIntegrate data from enterprise systems, including:Corporate Inventory SystemsOracle databasesPI HistorianBuild and optimize data models and ETL/ELT pipelines for performance and scalabilityAutomate manual analytical processes, including:Trend analysisGain/Loss calculationsStandard deviation thresholdsIdentification of abnormal patternsDeliver standardized, audit-ready reporting outputsEliminate reliance on manual spreadsheet-based processesImplement automated data refresh and reporting workflowsCollaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to define requirements and deliver solutionsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field3–6 years of experience in a Power BI Developer or similar BI roleStrong expertise in:Power BI Desktop & ServiceDAX and Power QueryHands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including:BigQueryCloud SQLDataflowPub/SubAdvanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysisExperience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuningStrong understanding of data visualization best practices and user experienceExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with additional BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Qlik)Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis or automationExposure to CI/CD practices for BI/report deploymentUnderstanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and compliance within GCPWhat Success Looks LikeClean, intuitive dashboards that stakeholders actually useAutomated reporting that replaces manual spreadsheet workScalable data models supporting reliable, audit-ready outputsFaster, smarter decision-making driven by real-time insights
