Software Engineer (Multi Cloud)

Overview In this role you will help build NCR Voyix’s Cloud Platform that underpins our API ecosystem for multiple industries. You will work in a cross-functional team to deliver scalable, high-performance services that power cloud-based products. You’ll write clean, tested code and contribute to open source-style documentation and samples. This is a hands-on position with impact on large-scale systems and a collaborative, policy-driven engineering culture. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and expand cloud platform services powering NCR Voyix API ecosystemWrite clean, well-tested code with automated tests and continuous deliveryContribute to open source-style community by producing documentation, samples, and answering questionsBuild large-scale, high-performance, scalable, fault-tolerant microservices in a service-oriented environment Key requirements3-5 years of software development experienceJava or another JVM languageExperience with relational and/or non-relational databasesExperience designing, implementing, and testing RESTful APIsFamiliarity with modern frameworks for high-throughput, resilient microservicesUnderstanding of TDD/BDD and automated testing toolsKnowledge of distributed design patterns, high-volume data stores, and horizontal scalingAbility to work on both large-scale and small-scale problemsFast learner and able to stand on your own when neededCollaborative team player in a supportive cultureStrong problem-solving under high demandJava or JVM languageRESTful API design and testingMicroservices frameworks and patterns
