Laundry Production Operator-NorthsidePlant Worker Job description: Sorting, washing, folding, and transporting linen throughout the facility. Counting and packing items according to customer order requests. Properly utilize facility equipment to complete daily production needs. Communicate product defects, equipment malfunctions and errors to supervisor or maintenance team. Adhere to all plant safety protocols including but not limited to company and OSHA standards. Maintain a clean working environment. Work collaboratively to meet company goals.Soil Distribution Department: Sort all soiled linen throughout the day.Reports to: Plant SupervisorRequirements:Flexibility and adaptabilityCommunication skillsAbility to lift up to 50lbsAbility to stand 8-10 hours consistentlyAbility to work in hot and humid environmentsMust have or be willing to obtain COVID vaccinationKey Responsibilities:Maintain established productivity standardsInspect all linen to ensure quality standards are maintainedFollow all health and safety standards throughout the facilityMaintain organization within personal and shared workspacesReport equipment malfunctions, linen defects or shortages, and safety hazards appropriatelyMaintain company-wide DART accident rate at or below 2Other duties as assignedBenefits:Paid time off401k after one yearPaid holidaysHealth, dental and vision insuranceAdditional Details:Full-time positionHourlyDay shift7 day facility.
