Trade Compliance Specialist

Type: Contract (Possible Temp-to-Hire)OverviewSupport U.S. import and export operations to ensure compliance with all applicable trade laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role handles day-to-day trade compliance activities for simple to moderately complex requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport U.S. import/export compliance operationsMaintain import/export manuals and perform regular auditsManage item master data (HTS, Country of Origin, license status)Partner with engineering and procurement on new product complianceEnsure accurate filing of import/export recordsProvide Free Trade Agreement (FTA) data to customers as neededAssist with government licensing applicationsEnsure proper export of productsMonitor and manage internal trade compliance systemsMaintain compliance with CTPAT, ITAR, and EAR regulationsComplete required annual import/export trainingQualificationsBachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experienceor 4+ years of related experience in lieu of a degreeStrong analytical and technical skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and verbal communication skills
