Job Description Job Opportunity: Pre-Admissions Testing NurseOur organization is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Pre-Admissions Testing Nurse to become a vital part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this position, you will be responsible for performing thorough preoperative evaluations, examining patients' medical histories, medications, and laboratory results, as well as coordinating essential testing to ensure that patients are fully prepared for surgery.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed preoperative assessments for patients.Review and analyze medical histories, current medications, and lab results.Coordinate necessary testing to optimize patients for surgical procedures.Provide education to patients and their families regarding pre- and post-operative care instructions.Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams.Accurately document all findings in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.Qualifications and RequirementsRegistered Nurse (RN) license required.Experience in preoperative nursing or a related field is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Working ConditionsThis role will be performed in a healthcare setting, where you will interact with patients, families, and medical professionals regularly.
