Job Summary: The Software Engineer In Test (SET) III role is crucial for advancing the automation landscape within the Nextech product suite. Focused on designing and developing robust automation frameworks, this position operates in a dynamic agile environment, crafting and implementing comprehensive automation regression suites across various technologies and platforms. As an SET III, you will maintain the stability of test infrastructure in production and non-production environments and play a pivotal role in the design and maintenance of critical SET-Azure micro-services and infrastructure. Essential FunctionsDesign and develop automation frameworks in an agile development environmentCreate and implement automation regression suites for cross-technology applications and multi-platform servicesMaintain test infrastructure stability in both production and non-production environmentsDesign and maintain critical SET-Azure micro-services and infrastructureIdentify and drive the adaption of best practices in code health, testability, and maintainabilityWork with Software Engineers to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the development processMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related IT field5+ Years of Software Development or Software Engineer in Test experience5+ Years of professional C# experience3+ Years of professional automation methodologies, tools, and practices experienceSolid hands on Object-oriented programing (OOP) experienceSolid understanding of software design patterns and anti-patternsSolid hands on experience implementing dependency injection and inversion of control patternsSolid hands on experience implementing REST or GraphQL based micro-servicesSolid understand of relational database structures, indexes, theories, principles and practicesSolid organization skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and ability to synthesize multiple results concurrentlyAble to deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractlyPreferred QualificationsExperience in Azure DevOps, AWS, or GCPExperience in Docker or container services and managementExperience using Microsoft SQL ServerKnowledge of healthcare systems and processesExperience with testing in iOS environmentsWork Environment/Physical DemandsWorking Environment: Nextech operates as a hybrid work organization – employees may work both from home and the office.
