This role will be responsible for, maintaining, monitoring, evaluating, integrating, and updating various digital telematics componentry utilized at Herc. An ideal candidate must also have a strong background in telematics, requirements gathering, and communicating feedback and requests with various internal groups, leadership, and stakeholders.To be successful in this role you should have a proven record supporting telematics software solutions, coaching team members, working with OEMs, experience with API data ingestion, strong communication skills, a good understanding of general business/functional knowledge, and service orientation.What you will do...Develop and manage telematics digital strategyLead, mentor and coach junior team members in the digital teamLead QA efforts of mobile and desktop applications integrated with telematicsWork closely with business stakeholders to develop roadmaps and telematics strategyHelp the digital team innovate telematics offerings to stay ahead in the marketplaceCreate and review requirements and specification documents of telematics systems and related digital platformsMaintain telematics digital solutions in accordance with SLAs and defined KPIsBe the liaison between IT and internal business stakeholders to help capture, support and translate their needs. Facilitate product ownership, prioritizing enhancements, and providing input to development teams in continuous innovation cyclesAct as a subject matter expert and source of knowledge who contributes their expertise to enhance customer experience, evaluate needs, and determine suitable existing technical solutions to ensure that customers requirements are met. Execute a growth plan to maximize opportunities for Herc Rentals telematics digital services.Support new product offerings and digital transformation initiatives.Provide analysis and metrics as necessary to enhance performance and improve current and future product features and offerings. Represent the Herc brand in a professional manner.
