If you are passionate about veterinary medicine and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced hospital environment, we would love to hear from you.Sign-On Bonus Available for Credentialed Technicians (CVT, LVT, RVT)What You'll DoPatient Care & NursingAssist veterinarians with patient examinations, diagnostics, and treatmentsObtain and record patient histories, vital signs, and medical observationsSafely restrain animals for examinations and proceduresMonitor hospitalized patients and report changes in conditionProvide nursing care to hospitalized and recovering patients Diagnostic & Laboratory ProceduresCollect blood, urine, fecal, and other diagnostic samplesPerform in-house laboratory testing including bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology preparation, and fecal analysisTake diagnostic radiographs using proper positioning and radiation safety protocolsPrepare and submit samples to outside laboratories Surgery & AnesthesiaPrepare patients and surgical suites for proceduresInduce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia under veterinarian supervisionMonitor anesthetic depth, vital signs, and patient safety during proceduresMaintain surgical instruments and sterile equipmentAssist veterinarians during surgical procedures Pharmacy & TreatmentsPrepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribedFill prescriptions accurately and label medications according to hospital protocolsMaintain controlled drug inventory and required regulatory logbooks Emergency & Critical CareAssist with emergency procedures including CPR and life-saving interventionsProvide monitoring and supportive care for ICU and critical patients Client CommunicationEducate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventative care, and post-operative instructionsSupport veterinarians in discussing diagnostics and treatment recommendations when appropriate Hospital OperationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, exam rooms, surgery suites, and equipmentClean and sterilize medical instruments and maintain hospital equipmentFollow proper infection control and biosecurity procedures Team SupportSupport and mentor veterinary assistants, students, and new team membersCollaborate with veterinarians and hospital staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care Requirements:Minimum 1 year of experience in veterinary emergency, urgent care, or general practiceGraduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program preferredCertified or licensed veterinary technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferredProficient in restraint, IV catheter placement, blood draws, anesthesia monitoring, and medication administrationFamiliarity with EzyVet or similar veterinary software a plusStrong multitasking skills and ability to remain calm in high-stress situationsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and restrain animals safely using Fear-Free techniquesWillingness to work in an environment with noise, potential allergens, zoonotic risks, and medical equipment Schedule:Hospital hours: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PMShifts vary between 8, 10, or 12 hours, based on hospital needsWeekend, evening, and holiday availability may be required What We Offer:Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceHSA & FSA Options401(k) with Employer MatchMental Health & Financial Wellness SupportCE AllowancePaid Time OffScrub AllowancePet Care DiscountsSign-On Bonus (for CVT, LVT & RVT)About Us:
