Job Description EMMY SQUARED PIZZA is coming to CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA and is seeking experienced BARTENDERS to join our opening team! Emmy Squared Pizza is a growing restaurant company that not only offer advancement opportunities, but a fun work environment, supportive leadership, competitive pay, health benefits for full time employees and delectable menu items you will be proud to serve our guests.Bartender Key Responsibilities:To provide courteous, prompt service to our guestsPrepare beverage orders for bar and dining areas, adhering to signature recipesSuccessfully adhere to Emmy's Steps of ServiceResponsible for entering guest orders accurately into Toast (POS system)Maintain complete working knowledge of menu and beverage offeringsCommunicate guest requests, including dietary restrictions, to culinary staffPerform opening and closing dutiesHelp to maintain a clean and presentable work environmentMaintain a positive, outgoing demeanor during serviceBe safety conscious to promote the safety of one's self, co-workers and guests at all timesAdhere to company policy and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned by managementBartender Qualifications:Minimum 1-year bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant operationIn-depth knowledge of beer, wine and spiritsPrior related experience requiring cash handling, excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing the needs of guestsAbility to work cohesively with co-workers throughout the restaurantPossess a passion for hospitality and a love of the food & beverage industryAbility to work a flexible scheduleAbility to lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting.
