Apply today!Assembly Responsibilities:Read and follow work order instructionsUse pallet jack to move pallets of product to different locationsUse automatic saws to cut tubing and pipes, hosingchop saws, and manual sawsRead blueprints for cutting and building the partsTake piece of tubing and expand it within the exact tolerance specificationsCut, trim, and attach braided metal and attach to hosesMeasure, compute and verify lengths of parts and drilling holesLog individual jobs into the system to track time and participate in time studiesPlace labels precisely on the productWatch for faulty, damaged, or nicked materials or packages to ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are being metNotify lead when assembly/component inventory supplies are lowCommunicate with co-workers in a positive, business-like mannerRequirements for Assembly:High School Diploma or equivalentAble to stand for extended periods of time; shift duration 8 to 10 hoursAble to bend, turn and reach throughout shiftAble to lift up to 20 pounds regularly, and up to 35-50 lbs occasionallyAble to work weekend and overtime hours as neededAccurate counting and basic math skillsAble to work with hand tools, cutting machines, expander machines, presses, rollersAble to learn and read blueprintsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
