Overview
As an Operations Excellence Engineer, you apply Lean and Six Sigma to tackle cross-functional process challenges and drive value across the organization. You will embed with functional teams and suppliers to reduce waste, improve quality and cycle times, and deliver measurable savings. You translate technical findings into strategic insights for leadership and help shape continuous improvement across defense programs. This role offers meaningful impact by enabling more efficient operations in a mission-driven environment.

Key requirementsBachelor in Engineering (or related)5+ years in process improvement, operations engineering, or consulting within a large organizationLean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent with demonstrable project leadership and resultsProven advisory experience influencing senior executives and facilitating workshopsStrong stakeholder management across diverse groupsUS Citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearanceWillingness to travel 80-100%FacilitationAnalytical thinkingCommunication excellenceMinitabJMPPower BI
