This role requires strong clinical skills and experience in a challenging environment, where patient acuity and the need for quality care may fluctuate. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients in a 1:4 patient-to-nurse ratio, flexing to 1:5 in emergencies.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to stepdown and immediate care patients.Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting telemetry and vital signs.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.Educate patients and families on care protocols and health management.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 1.5 - 2 years of Registered Nursing experience.At least 1 year of experience in Med/Surg/Telemetry and 2 years in Stepdown.Must have BCLS and ACLS certifications via the American Heart Association.Ability to interpret telemetry and manage various cardiac procedures.WV or Compact RN License required; pending licenses acceptable.Why ARMStaffing?
