Field Service Calibration Technician
The Role:

Location: On-site at various customer sites in Portland, Oregon and surrounding areas with occasional visits to our office in Portland, Oregon.
Scheduled overnight travel throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and California is also required for this role. About 1-2 weeks at a time per month ~ 50% overnight travel.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Working directly with the client throughout the calibration process from scheduling your onsite visit to the 1st onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates to services needed
Complete accurate and timely calibrations on a wide variety of equipment on customer sites. This includes but is not limited to balances, scales, pH meters, autoclaves, ovens/furnaces, refrigerators/freezers, moisture analyzers, temperature devices, refractometers, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, centrifuges, fume hoods, & spectrometers
Perform routine and complex calibrations per company processes, instructions, and documentation.
Perform calibration on all devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.
Communication with customers throughout the process and providing status updates.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Must have experience with an Electronics background
Able to lift 50lbs
Able to climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of time
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
Excellent customer service skills including written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and prioritization skills with a keen eye for details
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations in the Portland area and occasional scheduled overnight out-of-state travel (1 to 2 weeks per month)
Nice to have:
Calibrations experience
Metrology experience
Experience working with Balances and Scales
Experience working with Manufacturer’s Quality Systems
Familiarity and knowledge of ISO 17025
Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
Technical Degree or Certificate
Military PMEL Training
Experience with IndySoft
