IntroductionIn this contingent resource assignment, you may consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Operations Engineering. You will review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale, or longer-term Systems Operations Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.LocationDallas, TX and Charlotte, NCSalary Range$60-$65/hr on W2Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)5 years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership.Strong team or technical experience with strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.2 years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent.1 year of strong technical troubleshooting skills.1 year of working knowledge of application monitoring tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, Prometheus.1 year of Root Cause Analysis of problem issues.Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)6 months of experience working with HTTPS, HSH, and SHS protocols, including validating secure connections.Experience with reviewing certificates or supporting encrypted data transfer workflows.Exposure to managed file transfer tools such as Axway SecureTransport, Connect:Direct/NDM, or SFTP platforms.Foundational understanding of networking concepts, including SFTP/FTP basics, TCP/IP, port testing, and certificates.Experience communicating technical issues clearly, demonstrated through support interactions, group projects, or ticket documentation.Ability to produce clear written documentation, such as incident summaries, operational notes, or procedural updates.Bachelor's in computer science or related field preferred but not required.Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)Provide L2 operational support for managed file transfer platforms such as Axway SecureTransport (AXST), Connect:Direct/NDM, Secure Proxy, or similar tools (training provided).Review and respond to L1 monitoring alerts and ServiceNow incidents within defined SLA timelines.Execute runbook-driven tasks such as service restarts, workflow checks, certificate renewals, and production request validations.Assist in incident triage, initial troubleshooting, and escalation to ensure platform stability.Support platform health monitoring, performance checks, and proactive identification of potential issues.Maintain and update runbooks, documentation, and process steps to ensure operational accuracy.Participate in daily operations calls and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform stability and service delivery.Follow change management standards, including executing approved ServiceNow Changes, CTASKs, and SCTASKs.Contribute to ongoing operational improvements and help reduce manual effort through standardization.Company Benefits & CultureCompetitive compensation package.Collaborative and innovative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and development.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
