Desktop Support Specialist

This is a contract to hire opportunity :Key ResponsibilitiesEnd User SupportProvide onsite and remote technical support for end users across multiple locations.Troubleshoot and resolve Windows operating system, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Respond to and manage support requests through the HappyFox ticketing system.Perform password resets and assist users with account access issues.Deliver high-quality customer service and communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.IT AdministrationProvision and deprovision user accounts within Active Directory.Support Microsoft Office 365 administration tasks, including user management and troubleshooting.Assist with maintaining hybrid Active Directory environments.Support virtual machine deployments and upgrade activities.Network & Infrastructure SupportPerform basic network troubleshooting and triage issues prior to escalation.Support workstation setups, deployments, and peripheral devices.Provide remote support for satellite office locations.Assist with endpoint management and deployment tools including PDQ Connect and VMware environments.Participate in technology projects and operational initiatives managed through Asana.QualificationsRequired Skills & ExperienceExperience supporting Windows desktop environments.Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration.Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Admin Center.Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.Experience working within a ticketing system environment.Preferred ExperienceExperience supporting hybrid Active Directory environments.Familiarity with VMware, PDQ Connect, or endpoint management tools.Exposure to Intune or modern device management platforms is a plus.Experience supporting multiple locations or remote users.Environment & TechnologyWindows-based environment with limited Mac support.Technologies include HappyFox, Asana, VMware, PDQ Connect, and Office 365.Opportunity to gain exposure to new technologies and participate in infrastructure projects.
