🚀 Senior Project Manager – Financial Forecasting (Contract)📍 Location: McLean, VA (Onsite 3–5 days/week)📄 Employment Type: Contract (W2)💼 Financial Services ClientAbout the RoleOur financial services client is seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong experience in financial forecasting processes and enterprise-scale finance transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional programs across finance and technology teams, supporting large-scale forecasting, reporting, and ledger-related transformations.This role involves leading initiatives across SF, MF, ICM, Corporate Finance, Capital, Daily P&L, Modeling, and GL Subledger functions, ensuring successful strategy execution, rollout planning, and stakeholder alignment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead strategy, planning, and execution of large-scale finance transformation and forecasting initiativesConduct gap analysis and define rollout strategies aligned with business and customer needsManage cross-functional workstreams across finance, technology, and third-party stakeholdersFacilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and executive-level discussionsDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reportsDrive requirements gathering, scope definition, and success criteria alignmentCoordinate multiple workstreams and ensure integrated delivery plansPrepare agendas, meeting notes, action tracking, and follow-upsSupport rollout, adoption, and change management activities across finance usersCommunicate effectively with senior leadership on progress, risks, and dependenciesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in Project, Program, or Risk ManagementStrong experience managing cross-functional financial or enterprise transformation projectsBackground in financial forecasting, reporting, or finance technology initiatives (preferred)Experience working with finance systems and business applications supporting forecasting or ledger processesStrong stakeholder management and executive communication skillsProven ability to manage schedules, risks, issues, and deliverablesExcellent documentation, presentation, and organizational skillsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMust-Have SkillsProject Management (end-to-end delivery)Financial Forecasting / Finance Transformation exposureStakeholder Management & Executive CommunicationRequirements Gathering & Gap AnalysisRisk, Issue & Change ManagementStrong Meeting Facilitation & DocumentationIdeal Candidate ProfileDetail-oriented and highly organizedStrong leadership and collaboration skillsAble to manage multiple priorities and workstreamsComfortable working in fast-paced financial environmentsStrong problem-solving and analytical mindset
