The focus of this position is to provide psychological evaluations and diagnosis of autism, with a small amount of ADHD, Learning Disorder, Trauma, and other social-emotional issues to children and adults.You will provide diagnostic autism evaluations for clients 24-months old through adulthood.Applicant Required Qualifications:Completion of an APA-accredited PhD or PsyD degree program in psychologyObtained licensure in IllinoisExperience with and understanding of early child developmentCompleted clinical ADOS-2 training and obtained certification to administer ADOS-2Recent (within past 6 months) experience providing multiple testing measures including cognitive, or development assessment measures, Such as the WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WJ-IV, Mullen Scales of Early LearningFocused study and/or clinical experience with autistic individualsPreferred Qualifications:Training in the following additional assessment measures: ABAS-3, SRS-2, Mullen Scales of Early Learning, CPT-3, CATA, K-CPT, CVLT-3, Stroop Test, Woodcock Johnson Tests of AchievementSkills required evaluation process, including:Identification of symptoms and symptom categoriesCollection of background informationConsiderations for differential diagnosesSelecting test measures that are age-appropriate and relevant to the specific inquiryTest administration and data collectionScoring, interpreting, and analyzing dataDiagnosis formulationFormulating and customizing specific treatment recommendationsWriting comprehensive psychological reportsProviding feedback to client and/or familyHand-off to treatment providersAdditional services and duties may include:ADHD evaluation (ages 6 through adulthood)Specific Learning Disorder evaluation (ages 6 through adulthood)Outreach & partnership management of treatment providers in the autism communityContribution and organization of autism resource pageJob Responsibilities:Complete evaluationsCommunicate with clients' family members and previous/ongoing treatment providers to gain data for evaluationsCoordinate care with and hand-off to treatment providers for future care (ABA therapists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, play therapists, psychiatrists, mental health therapists, etc.)Create, update, and maintain documentation, note-taking, and additional administrative duties as neededNext Steps:Please apply for the positionPlease prepare two redacted/HIPPA compliant examples of psychological reportsPlease prepare two letters of recommendation
