Layout Support-BIM MEP Modeling-Laser Scanning-Record Document Quality Control-Scan to BIM Modeling-BIM/VDC Roadmap strategy-Revit Content/Family Creation-Navisworks Clash DetectionRole DescriptionModeling Mechanical systems in Revit to LOD of 350Interpret MEP schematic diagrams accurately.Follow construction specifications as well as discipline-specific design guidelines to assure systems will be installed and operate per design intent.Coordinate closely with the trade detailer to determine best routing of systems.Coordinate closely with other disciplines on the project by using the Navisworks model.Field verify with field walk-thru and with point cloud scans to assure all has been considered during routing.Attend all required meetings.Resolve clashes within set time frame.Collaborate with other 3D modelers to constantly improve processes and workflows.Track project schedules and strive to meet all deadlines.Identify problems and work on solutions to resolve the problems quickly.Perform self-checks such as clash tests and metadata audits to assure model accuracy.Provide trades with completed system models, system routing plans, sections, 3D views, schedules, etc.QualificationsPiping Design and Coordination skillsKnowledge of engineering standards and specificationsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesEffective communication and collaboration skills2 years minimum experience using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.Strong skills with Autodesk NavisworksExperience with Autodesk ReCap
