The work environment values professionalism, continuous learning, and accountability.Role Description The Epic Credentialed Trainer at 3A WILLS is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role is responsible for delivering end-user training on Epic applications, including classroom instruction, one-on-one coaching, and at-the-elbow support during go-live and optimization periods. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating training materials, lesson plans, tip sheets, and job aids in alignment with established curricula and build. The trainer will conduct training sessions for clinical and non-clinical staff, assess learner proficiency, provide feedback, and document completion and competency records. The role also involves collaborating with analysts and super users to validate workflows, test system changes from a training perspective, and escalate issues impacting end-user adoption. The trainer will support ongoing education, such as refresher courses, new hire training, and system upgrade training, while maintaining strong communication with leadership and project teams.Qualifications Epic-specific: Epic Credentialed Trainer status or the ability to obtain credentialing within a defined timeframe; prior experience training or supporting Epic end users strongly preferred.Training and education: Demonstrated experience in adult learning, classroom facilitation, and developing training materials, job aids, and user guides.Technical and workflow skills: Ability to understand clinical and operational workflows, navigate Epic and related systems, and translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance.Communication and collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clearly, handle questions, and work effectively with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders.Organization and problem-solving: Strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot basic user issues and escalate complex problems appropriately.Experience and education: Prior experience in healthcare, health IT, or clinical operations preferred; associate or bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare, information systems, or a related field is beneficial.Professional attributes: Commitment to confidentiality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance; flexibility to support go-live events, including occasional extended hours as needed.
