Overview In this role you will craft clear, accurate technical content that enables operators, technicians, and internal teams to safely operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our systems. You will collaborate with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and field teams to translate complex hardware and software into usable manuals and guides. Your work supports safe, reliable vehicle operation and streamlined field support at a company advancing green freight. ResponsibilitiesInterview engineers, operators, and technicians to capture use, maintenance, and troubleshooting detailsDevelop Operation and Maintenance manuals for vehicle hardware and user-facing softwareCreate work instructions for assembly, maintenance, field repairs, and remote troubleshootingProduce visual aids: photographs, screenshots, diagrams, CAD renders for documentationRequest missing details from technical staff to ensure accuracyStandardize naming conventions and terminology across documentsManage document revisions and alignment with engineering changesParticipate in product reviews, testing, and field activities to validate docs against reality Key requirements3+ years of experience producing customer-facing documents in a safety-related fieldStrong attention to detail and copyediting skillsExpert user of Microsoft Word or equivalent layout softwareFamiliarity with mechanical repair processesattention to detailclear written communicationcross-functional collaborationMicrosoft Word or equivalent layout softwareSolidWorks (preferred)Vector drawing skills
