Shift Lead Opportunity at Jeff's Bagel RunOur goal at Jeff's Bagel Run is to bake fresh, bring joy, and build community. We started in our founder Jeff's home kitchen in 2019 and have grown to over 30 locations and we're coming to The Villages!We are looking for a dedicated Shift Lead who is excited to learn the bagel business and help lead the team day to day. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys supporting teammates, and is interested in growing with us as we continue to expand. We operate as a team, and we close at 2pm every day!Restaurant or bakery experience is a plus. We will fully train you in our process. A great candidate will be disciplined, fast, and take pride in consistency delivering a quality product and great guest experience day in and day out.This role also helps set the tone for the shift, supporting team members and helping ensure operations run smoothly.Must be willing to work in a sometimes fast-paced bakery focused on baking bagels and serving smiles. Must be a strong teammate with a clear understanding of what it takes to provide great customer service.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly and efficiently under pressure.Other potential workload: whipped cream cheese production, cream cheese scooping, vegetable chopping, inventory counts, food prep (bagels), making coffee, dishes, general cleaning, and front of house service.Responsibilities and requirements (Don't worry we can train you!)Provide exceptional customer service this is the most important part of the jobHelp lead shifts and support teammates to ensure smooth daily operationsRun front of house as a team or independentlyBe comfortable running a cash register and assisting in food prep (bagels and cream cheese)Maintain the front lobby and guest areasAssist with inventory counts and product organizationProvide assistance to the bakers when neededClean and disinfect work areas; set up and break down work stations; follow and help maintain sanitation and cleaning proceduresAssist with opening the store on time and support closing the entire bakery when scheduledEnsure equipment is clean and sanitizedHelp maintain a safe and organized work environmentAdditional detailsShifts may start anywhere from 5 7am Weekend availability requiredJob type: Full-time Expected hours: 1540 per weekBenefitsEmployee discountFlexible scheduleRestaurant type: BakeryShift10 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftMorning shiftWeekends
