Responsibilities:
- Focus on customer satisfaction.
- Maintain consistent high food production quality
- Purchasing, inventory, scheduling, hiring and firing, discipline, performance reviews
- Be a good teacher
- Be a hard worker
- Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance;
- Ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen.
- Menu costing
- Prep lists
- Food loss control
- Establish presentation technique and quality standards.
Experience:
- Previous experience being a sous chef or a kitchen manager required.
- Cooking on the line.
- Development and management of culinary team.
Core competencies: Leadership, Management, Planning, Cooking skills
