Senior Cost Accountant/ Analyst – Costing & Inventory HybridWe are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Financial Analyst – Costing & Inventory to join a growing team. This role is critical to supporting global standard costing processes, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis across the organization.As a key member of the finance team, you will partner cross-functionally to analyze cost drivers, improve transparency into product costing, and enhance financial decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys turning data into actionable insights.What You’ll DoStandard Costing & AnalysisMaintain and set up new part costs within ERP systems (SAP preferred)Support and execute the annual standard cost rollAnalyze material, labor, and overhead cost changes and communicate key driversPartner with the business on cost modeling and product cost comparisonsContribute to initiatives supporting in-house manufacturing costing structuresCost Accounting & Inventory ManagementAnalyze variances to standard cost, supporting FIFO and capitalized variance processesPrepare and reconcile excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory reservesReview end-of-life inventory and other critical reserve balancesControls & ComplianceSupport SOX compliance and audit requests related to inventory and costingBusiness Partnership & InsightsModel inventory and cost impacts for budgeting and forecastingWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance3+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within manufacturingStrong understanding of GAAP, standard costing, and inventory accountingExperience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
