Upholstery Sewer

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking experienced Sewers for our client in High Point. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of relevant experience and a history of excellent attendance.Job Requirements: Essential Duties:Sew material per customer specifications.Select appropriate raw materials, hardware, tools, tags and equipment necessary to produce and sew various products.Inspect product prior to be sewn; check for stains.Maintain a clean and safe work environmentPlace spools of thread on spindles.Follow sketches and design specifications.Prepare machine for production, regulating machine, producing parts, maintaining specifications, resolving production problems, ensuring correct operation of equipmentPrepare machine by changing needles and thread, oiling and changing bobbin, and securing attachments.Job Qualifications:Stable work history in a position that required a strong attention to detail.Previous sewing experience is required.Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.Capable of reading and understanding instructions.Benefits Available: Short/Long Term Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Term Life Short Term Disability Direct Deposit Holiday Pay Service Bonus Contract-to-HireStarting Pay: $18-19/hr.Get job alerts by email.
