As we continue to expand our footprint, we are looking for a driven, field-based Service Consultant to help lead our new business development efforts and bring the Hydromax Services name to new markets.Position SummaryThe Service Consultant is a full-time, field-based role responsible for driving new business development across multiple divisions within Hydromax. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this person will be on the front lines of our growth — prospecting new accounts, conducting needs assessments, presenting tailored service solutions, and closing new business. This is a hunter role built for a self-motivated sales professional who is comfortable managing a territory, building relationships from the ground up, and representing a company they can be proud of. Compensation is a competitive base salary plus commission tied directly to performance.Key ResponsibilitiesActively prospect and identify new business opportunities across assigned territory through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and community presenceConduct in-person and virtual meetings with prospective customers to understand their service needs and present Hydromax solutionsDevelop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across multiple divisionsConsistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets set by the Director of SalesRepresent Hydromax at industry events, trade shows, and community functions to build brand awareness and generate leadsConduct thorough needs assessments to identify the right service solutions for each prospective customerPrepare and deliver accurate, professional proposals and service estimates in a timely mannerFollow up on all outstanding proposals with persistence and professionalism to drive decisions forwardCollaborate with operations and estimating teams to ensure proposals are feasible, profitable, and aligned with company capabilitiesNegotiate contract terms within approved parameters and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new accountsManage an assigned geographic territory with a strategic approach to coverage, prioritization, and time managementMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect and customer interactions within the CRM (Service Titan)Build strong relationships with key decision-makers including property managers, contractors, restaurant owners, and facility managersIdentify upselling and cross-divisional opportunities within newly acquired accounts and communicate them in daily sales meetingsMonitor competitive activity within the territory and provide market intelligence to the sales leadership teamCommunicate regularly with the Director of Sales on pipeline status, activity levels, and territory performanceCollaborate with the Customer Success Representative and operations teams to ensure seamless handoff of new accountsParticipate in daily sales meetings, provide activity updates, and contribute to team strategy discussionsSubmit accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates as requiredPerformance ExpectationsConsistent achievement of monthly and quarterly new business revenue targetsMaintenance of an active, well-documented sales pipeline in the CRM at all timesTimely follow-up on all leads, proposals, and prospect communicationsProfessional representation of the Hydromax brand in all customer and community interactionsRegular territory coverage with documented prospect and customer visit activityQualifications & Experience2+ years of outside or field-based sales experience, preferably in a service, construction, or trades-related industryDemonstrated track record of prospecting, pipeline development, and closing new businessExperience selling to commercial, residential, or contractor accounts is a strong plusFamiliarity with plumbing, hauling, underground utilities, or trenchless services preferred but not requiredProficiency with CRM platforms; Service Titan experience a plusStrong interpersonal and presentation skills — comfortable engaging with decision-makers at all levelsSelf-directed and motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently and with minimal oversightValid driver's license and reliable transportation required; this role involves regular travel within the assigned territoryHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field a plusPhysical DemandsFrequent driving and travel throughout the assigned territory on a daily basisAbility to conduct site visits, walk job sites, and meet with customers in various field environmentsOccasional lifting of sales materials, samples, or product literature up to 25 lbs.Ability to sit for extended periods during travel, office time, and virtual meetingsClear verbal communication ability for in-person, phone, and video-based customer interactionsWork Schedule & RequirementsFull-time position; schedule driven by territory activity and customer availability — Monday through Friday with occasional flexibilityRegular field presence required; this is not a remote or primarily office-based roleMust maintain a professional appearance and demeanor as a direct representative of Hydromax ServicesReliable transportation and a clean driving record are requiredAbility to maintain confidentiality of pricing, contract terms, and company strategyCompensation & BenefitsThis position offers a competitive base salary plus a commission structure tied to new business performance.
