Quality Engineer

Quality EngineerOverviewThe Quality Engineer is responsible for identifying and resolving quality issues, improving processes, and ensuring products meet quality standards. This role supports production, new product launches, and continuous improvement efforts while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.Key Responsibilities+ Investigate quality issues and identify root causes+ Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions+ Support new product and process transitions into production+ Maintain quality systems, controls, and documentation+ Create and process Engineering Change Notices related to quality+ Develop and update work instructions+ Perform in‐process and assembly audits to ensure proper equipment, tooling, and parts are used+ Support equipment evaluations to improve manufacturing quality+ Lead or support process improvement initiatives using Lean principles+ Develop and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, and testing procedures+ Conduct quality inspections and assurance testingRequired Skills & Qualifications+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering+ 2+ years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment+ Experience working in a production setting+ Understanding of basic engineering and quality principles+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+ Ability to work cross‐functionally and provide constructive feedbackJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of South Elgin, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $90000.00/yr.Benefits available upon offer.
